I like the brightness of the light. It's small but still lights up my whole face for videos. The reason I gave it 3 stars is that turning on the light produces a high pitched buzz that is almost inaudible to the human ear. Unfortunately, the microphone picks up noise very clearly, which is a problem as it adds a lot of extra time and effort to the video editing process to try to remove noise from the audio. I have requested a replacement. If the new flashlight doesn't have this problem, I'll happily raise my rating because the light itself is really good. The hum makes the light useless. *edit* The replacement has arrived. Exactly the same problem. If you plan to record video on real computer with real microphone, this thing is no good. Nothing I've tried eliminates high frequency noise when the light is on. I even wrapped it in duct tape and placed it on the walls behind sound absorbing foam. It's still possible. You can hear it in the video. It's almost impossible to edit. I will be returning both the replacement and the original as they are both useless to me and I would caution against purchasing this flashlight if high frequency background noise is an issue for you.
