The hat straps came loose on the first day of use. Bought two - one for each child. Children didn't pull on it and did nothing but use it for its intended purpose. Now the hats slide easily off the head as the ties are undone on one side. This isn't easy either, as the straps are a thin cord that looks like an elastic band surrounded by a thin fabric sheath. Children are very active and a strap is crucial to keep them on their heads while they are playing to protect them from the sun. Unfortunately, this product failed.
