1980's Programming/Sound

Well I thought the lights were off but they are so incredibly bright they light up the whole room. It has programming skills from the 1980s. You have to press up or down every second to set the alarm or time. It's the same when you choose your sound. So if you accidentally hit the sound button once, you'll have to click back through each sound to get back to the one you were using. The alarm button is at the very top and often doesn't register when you press it twice to silence the alarm, so the snooze function activates automatically. The speaker is not good. The only thing I like about it is that when the alarm goes off, the sounds turn off first, since I usually wake up (due to the lack of a sound, which is much more pleasant than the beep). . If you don't actually wake up, it waits in silence for about 30 seconds, then starts ringing very softly and gradually gets louder, which is quite loud (actually waking my husband up). It has a decent range of sounds to choose from, but the speaker is terrible enough to be useful. I thought that paying a decent amount for a watch would give me better quality. I don't think I was right. I gave it 3 stars because it tells the time, has a quiet alarm and makes sounds - three things I needed but I'm quite disappointed.
