This is my 4th pair in all these years, they are good water shoes, yes you get used to the sock, now I prefer it, prevents toes from slipping and squeaking etc. They last about 2 seasons, then the thumb starts to give and tear inside, then the finger starts to stick out and protrudes sometimes, so maybe in season 3 I will reach 2.1/2, I need to order more pair. and the price keeps going up, I've bought others but one of the things that keeps me coming back to them is the thickness of the sole and the way they curl up a little on the sides, I walk on a lot of stones.
