These are excellent storage containers. I prefer glass and it's thick, durable borosilicate glass so they can withstand extreme temperatures that some glass products can't. I always seem to need more containers than I have, especially around the holidays, so I was happy to find this versatile set in a good range of shapes and sizes. The set includes: Four square containers: 2 small, 1 medium and 1 large (capacity just under a liter) Four round containers: 2 small, 1 medium and 1 large (capacity one liter) Four rectangular containers: 2 small, 1 medium and 1 large 1 large (with a capacity of just over a liter). All have lids that snap open and ensure a tight seal. I tested the seal with water and none of the containers leaked. Of course I have to make sure I fasten each latch securely or it will leak. The containers and lids appear to be of good quality and are still holding up well with no chips or cracks. I don't find modern borosilicate glass to be as durable as my old US made cookware years ago, but that type doesn't seem to be made anymore. I would like at least one larger container in the set, even if that means fewer smaller ones. At $43.95, the price for a set of 10 jars and lids seems reasonable, if not exactly a bargain.
