These are good containers. I've always preferred borosilicate glass - it's not perfectly clear, thin jar but it's quite thick which makes it stronger I think the bigger the jar the smaller than I expected a pain as I like to keep containers with lids so I never have to search for lids here are the measurements in cups - rectangular - large - 35 oz = just under 4.5 cups (8x6 inches), medium = 21 oz = just over 2.5 cups (6.75x5 inches), 2 small 12 oz = 1.5 cups ( 4.2x5 .5 inches).Square Shape…

Cons
  • Not everything fits

These are excellent storage containers. I prefer glass and it's thick, durable borosilicate glass so they can withstand extreme temperatures that some glass products can't. I always seem to need more containers than I have, especially around the holidays, so I was happy to find this versatile set in a good range of shapes and sizes. The set includes: Four square containers: 2 small, 1 medium and 1 large (capacity just under a liter) Four round containers: 2 small, 1 medium and 1 large (capacity

No leaks, thick spaceship glass, very clear

So I didn't know they were made of spaceship glass :). They looked so beautiful in the photos I just had to have them without reading all the details. But take the time to read the description on the product page as there is a lot of good information there including the recommended temperatures (104 to 1040F) for example, pretty impressive I have to admit. The glass is really thick but very clean and smooth. The lids are BPA-free, so I don't have to worry. The four (4) flaps on each lid are…

I like the shape and size and I like that the lids are airtight. But when they speak of borosilicate glass I assume they are roughly equivalent to Pyrex. They aren't that strong at all, break fairly easily and splinter very easily. After testing them for a few months, I have a break about every two weeks while my mom's 30-year-old Pyrex is still running great. I don't know what corners they cut to make it more brittle, but so did I. My other complaint is the lids. Each bowl is a different size,
