These are good containers. I've always preferred borosilicate glass - it's not perfectly clear, thin glass, but it's quite thick, which I think makes it stronger. The larger the glass, the smaller than I expected. a pain as I like to keep containers with lids so I never have to search for lids. Here are the measurements in cups - rectangular - large - 35 oz = just under 4.5 cups (8x6 inches), medium = 21 oz = just over 2.5 cups (6.75x5 inches), 2 small 12 oz = 1.5 cups (4.2x5 .5 inches). Square Shape - Large - 27 oz = just under 3.5 cups (6 inches), Medium - 17.5 oz = just over 2 cups (5.2 inches), 2 small - 11 oz = just under 1.5 cups (4, 3 inches) Round sizes: 32 ounces = 4 cups (6.75 inches), 21 ounces = just over 2.5 cups (5.9 inches), 2 small - 13.5 ounces = just over 1.5 cups (5.2 inches).
