I like the shape and size and I like that the lids are airtight. But when they speak of borosilicate glass I assume they are roughly equivalent to Pyrex. They aren't that strong at all, break fairly easily and splinter very easily. After testing them for a few months, I have a break about every two weeks while my mom's 30-year-old Pyrex is still running great. I don't know what corners they cut to make it more brittle, but so did I. My other complaint is the lids. Each bowl is a different size, which means you'll need to keep the lids straight. I would prefer multiple containers of the same size, or make larger plates deeper (rather than wider) so the lids can be replaced. Whatever the case, it's kind of a cap storage nightmare. If it had been a bargain basement price I wouldn't have been so disappointed. But at this price I absolutely don't understand why anyone should choose this one and not a well known brand. I've seen Pyrex 24 packs for about the same price but much better quality. So I highly recommend checking this out before making a decision.
