Accuracy verified on a Bridgestone machine after 1 year of use. As for venting, my model requires you to readjust the valve each time to get an accurate reading. The same applies to changing from one tire to another. If you get 35.5psi on the first tire and move on to the next tire without resetting, you will see 34-35psi when the tire is actually 32psi. The same thing happens when you release some air. The readings are not "live". You still need to remove from the valve stem, bleed the block and reattach. If there was a complaint, I would still buy the product without question. Keep in mind that on my model, the only way to get accurate measurements is to see all the zeros and then attach to the valve stem.
