Very happy with this little fan. I had an issue with one of my marine amps on my boat overheating. The console doesn't interfere much with airflow to keep the amps cool during our summer months here in Florida. I decided to try this inexpensive fan as an experiment to see if it could solve my overheating issues. Of course it keeps my amp out of overheat protection mode! I was able to hook it up via an unused extra switch on the dash so I could turn it on and off depending on audio usage. I only used it for maybe 5-7 hours. I hope he can live in the outside salty environment for at least a year or so. Maybe it will surprise me and last a few years.
