The only downside is that you need a special case for 2 disc DVDs but at least 7mm cases are made for that too. The space savings are enormous and worth it. So far I've replaced over 200 out of a collection of over 1000 and the saved shelf space brings the entire collection back to manageable condition. I have looked at all types of DVD storage solutions but I have custom made wooden DVD/CD cabinets and the vast majority of folders etc. do not work. Only these 7mm cases work and do it very well. Very little trimming is required on each of the original 14mm DVD inserts to adapt the insert to the new 7mm case and still display the title on the spine. They're just as durable as any original type I've replaced. Price. I'd say they're not bad, 30 cents each. Pretty good price.
