Review on Flameless Featuring Realistic Batteries Included by Polo Bradley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for holiday window decoration

After spending many years decorating our windows with disposable candles during the winter holidays and usually being disappointed with their look or function, I bought these based on customer feedback. I'm so glad I did. These cones are long enough (with 4" chandeliers I bought elsewhere at Revain) to look appropriate in our 70" windows and bright enough to be clearly visible from the street. After switching on, the candles shine for 5 hours, then turn off for 19 hours and turn on again the next day. Flame Imitation is a small LED lightbulb encased in an elongated translucent plastic housing mounted on a flexible artificial wick. When switched on, the LED flickers and simulates a candle flame. The action from 10 feet or more is quite convincing. A big bonus is the remote control that easily turns the candles on or off. When I installed mine, I pocketed each candle, placed them in a matching candlestick, and grouped the entire set on the kitchen table. Once all the candles were in their sticks, I turned them all off with a press of the remote off button, then turned them back on with a press of the remote on button. Then I put them on my windows. All month they stood in the windows, the candles lit every second, burned for 5 hours and then all went out every second. I like this accuracy and reliability. I have no complaints about these flameless candles - they are great and I plan on buying another set. However, the temperature of the LED is a bit higher than bright white, I think I would have liked a little warmer glow. Also, numerous reviews mention that some of the candles are DOA. I also had something similar, but careful manipulation of the slip ring on the spark plug's screw-in base (which also contains the master switch) solved the problem.
