The same Revain ad covers several different models, so some of the reviews mention features like multiple speeds, switches, and extra ports that I don't have - 2 fans, 15.6 inches. Version is just a note. But that's ok, it works great with my router, the Netgear Nighthawk AC1950, which is pretty big for a router, so not much smaller than a stand. I've never used a cooling pad with a router but I'm tired of swapping out expensive routers every year or so which I think is due to overheating as we work with them quite a bit. This pad cooled the router by almost 15% Degrees Fahrenheit for a few minutes (measured with an IR thermometer) from hot to the touch. , down to room temperature. The rug is quiet and you won't notice a strong gust of wind coming from underneath, but it gets the job done surprisingly well. It looks good and is quite durable. I was so impressed what a small fan can do that I bought a small desktop USB fan to cool the modem (it's a vertical model and it gets very hot) and this fan plugs into the USB pass-through of the cooling pad - very handy - so now everything works cool. Time will tell, but I'm hoping the lining will extend the life of the router and make it a bargain.
