Bought for an older pedigree Bichon Frize. I got the size XL after seeing a photo here of this size fitting for a similar dog. The dimensions really fit. not too long or too short on stomach or back. The holes for the sleeves are in the right place. fitted small chest. like taking him to a tailor. The buttoned tummy center makes it easy to insert his stiff/old legs. Doesn't stretch much at all. but (because of the buttons) it turns on and off easily, painlessly, and in the blink of an eye. He likes it. I think he likes it because it's so comfortable to relax in. The extra softness on the irritable old dog bones means you can snuggle with more energy. like an extra layer of fat on a seal. Well.
