These are really good comfortable shoes with great grip on the sole. I got them to practice and practice softball with my kids. I wanted comfortable shoes, no cleats, with good traction so I could run and turn quickly on the grass and mud inside the pitch without sliding all over the pitch. It's really comfortable with great arch support. They look like a mesh upper but are actually coated in nylon/synthetic, which is great for keeping my feet dry when stepping on wet grass. I have a wide ball and am not tense. All seams are flat and well taped, making the shoe fairly waterproof. Again, the traction on the outsole is very strong, giving you really stable footing on grass, mud, and mixed terrain (e.g. most hiking trails or nature walks). I was only able to snag a white pair in my size and was a bit concerned they would quickly look dirty, but they wash off easily with a damp towel and still look good after a lot of wear in the mud and grass. They are also of good quality so they can be machine washed without losing their shape.
