It was easy to install and looks just like the original. However, I'm the kind of person who loves to turn my waterpik to "11" and blast my gums with a very powerful jet of water. With this device, I immediately noticed that the water jet on my Waterpik is not as powerful as on the original pen and I just didn't feel that it was doing its job as well. Last week I finally ordered the Waterpik OEM pen from the Waterpik website and saw the difference between day and night. I'd say with this aftermarket pen set at 10, it's more like a setting of 6 or 7 with the original Waterpik pen. If you're not using the maximum setting it doesn't matter, but just don't expect this pen to deliver the same amount of water/pressure as the Waterpik pen.
