This radio is a godsend for vacationers. It's not like I'm a camper - I bought it for the coming winter and a power outage in a snow storm. I love that it has five sources of energy, including the sun and an old-fashioned hand crank. You can connect your phone to it for charging! I also like that it has an SOS alarm. Hoping never to be needed, but you never know. The radio is small, light and packed with features such as a reading light, flashlight and two USB charging ports. The instructions state that the initial charge takes eight hours, but it was done in less than three. High quality speakers with clear sound. The weather section comes in handy when the Weather Channel app isn't loading, which is often the case when the weather is bad. All in all a great purchase.
