Expected "round" poly, waxed threads for sewing leather. Maybe my fault is that I didn't read the product description carefully enough. Put 4 not 5 because I expected a round thread. But still it is a quality product, very durable and slightly stretchy. Which is important to me because I knit bamboo flutes with it. and stretching ensures the binding stays taut over time. You just need to be more careful when wrapping the grooves to keep the thread flat, otherwise twisting the thread will be unsightly. For this reason, circular thread is easier to use as a binder. I like the finish too. Not too shiny, not too flat.
