The screen (glass/digitizer) arrived well packaged and worked perfectly in the test. I didn't use the tools provided as I had my own so I can't comment on that. The screen comes with a protective film on the front and back that you need to remove. The back protector is not only for the display, but also for the adhesive. According to YouTube, there are different installation methods. I tried attaching the screen last after putting the back cover back on the tablet. The problem is that you can't open the new screen too far or the ribbon cable will move. Another option is to place the screen on top of the LCD and then snap the back cover in place. One YouTuber says it will be very difficult to align the screen this way. Anyway, everything went fine for me, but when I peeled off the front protective film, I found that it had a small but noticeable piece of glass or something similar. at the top of the screen. Unfortunately, being a perfectionist, I couldn't leave it at that. So I took the screen off again but the glue is very strong so I ended up tearing off most of the glue and maybe because I bent the screen too much there is now a weird distortion on the glass maybe from - because of stress (see picture) . Everything was fine, but the screen lifted off the edge in a few places because the glue broke and couldn't stick well in those places. So here's my suggestion: remove the front protective film first so you can clearly see if there's anything on the LCD or screen. Peel off the protective film on the back to reveal the adhesive. Static electricity from removing the back protector can cause dust or lint to be attracted to this screen. Then when you put things down, keep looking to see if there's anything between the LCD and the screen. If you see any noticeable dust or lint, gently lift the screen to remove it. Note that unless you are in a dust-free area you will have some particles, but again look for larger visible particles. If everything looks good, slowly lower the screen further onto the LCD while straightening it out. Then, once it's down, push the screen into place. You might even want to turn your tablet upside down and put your books on it at night. Also make sure to remove all the old glue. Use a heat gun to make this easier and if you can remove some of the old glue you can use the old glue to stick the remaining glue onto the frame. As for me, I think I have to live with the screen as it is because I honestly don't want to deal with it again. Maybe one day when it breaks again I can fix it!
