3-28-20 update: I return the pajamas I originally reviewed (size small). As I said, they were what I was looking for but were much but were too tight in the crotch, contrary to the size description. I ordered another pair (in a different pattern, as available) - medium this time. Again, the pajamas overall we’re roomy but the crotch was a little tight (the rise was high) relative to the rest of the proportions. These are comfortable, maybe a bit too roomy except as already indicated. So these may be a better design for someone who is slimmer in the hips and a bit more straight up and down.The only reason I rate this down from 5 stars is the combo of inconsistent size descriptions in different parts of the listing (see original review) and the fact that the crotch or rise seems proportioned differently from the rest of the PJ. I haven’t had this problem with other PJs from the same company, and they still are a very nice PJ.******************************Earlier review:These pajamas are exactly what I was looking for - middle-weight, very soft, nice design. The information posted with the listing says both "true to size" and also "our products are designed to be generously oversized and you may want to size down." I'm a small woman, and purchased the small, which is also listed as 6-8. In women's clothing, I'm generally a 6. Full disclosure - my hips are broader than my shoulders - but I'm slim and I do know my size. I found that the top was a good fit - even on the roomy side, which I like in a PJ - but the crotch was high and on the tight side. I will return these - but I like them enough to order the next size up. Unfortunately, based on the size of the pair I ordered, the medium top may be too large.The fit is the only reason I rated this as four stars instead of five. it's a very good product. If you're a woman with a "boyish" figure, the sizing may be truer. [Update: If you click on the sizing chart, it says 4-6 for "small." If I'd seen this, I would have purchased the medium. But the product listing itself says 6-8. So, in fairness, I think the issue is not with the product sizing but with the contradictory information in the listing.]
