Worked 2 months then died

This product seems amazing and surprising for its short lifespan. I had my 2 months and then just stopped working. I opened it, which is not difficult, and saw that the construction is very cheap. It has 2 METAL gears connected to a PLASTIC gear. So after 2 months of normal use (2 times a week) of course the metal gear has completely destroyed the plastic gear so there is no more plastic gear so it doesn't work anymore. For the price and brand I expected it to last a lifetime (certainly not) but at least a few years. You need to make it so that the gears are metal to metal so the metal doesn't destroy the plastic gears. I use it for regular off the shelf pepper and salt, it's not like I put something hard on it and caused it.
