eufy Security "Big Brother " for a cat: my truthful feedback

It all started with the fact that my wife and I decided to adopt a cat from a shelter. The cat was quiet and unhappy, afraid of everything and shaking from any loud noise ... But only while we were watching him :). As soon as we went to bed, something indescribable began outside the bedroom door, sounding like a small earthquake. But as soon as we went out to look, we found a peacefully "sleeping" cat. Therefore, it was decided to put a camera to follow the pet's nighttime adventures). We found a comparative article on the net called: "Top 10 Animal Monitoring Cameras." In terms of price-quality ratio, it was decided to buy a TP-Link Tapo C200 camera, since the company is quite well-known (a major manufacturer of network equipment). The selection was based on the following criteria: 1. The camera is triggered by movement 2. The camera can shoot both day and night 3. The camera writes to local media (SD card). That will minimize the threat of video leakage to the network. All this TP-Link Tapo C200 provides. Externally, the camera looks very nice and has a resemblance to the characters of "Star wars" or "WALL-E" and fits perfectly on the shelf next to the TV Installation and configuration took 10-15 minutes. Through the Tapo Android application, it is possible to turn on the privacy mode (so that the camera writes only the cat's actions, but not ours :)). It is possible to talk through the camera, which is very convenient when we are not at home, but the camera shows that the animal can arrange a massacre. You can record your favorite moments in the form of videos or photos. It is also possible to rotate the camera horizontally and vertically. Among the shortcomings, the following can be distinguished: 1. The sound recorded from the camera is terrible. With a pretty good image, the sound is written as if in a big old saucepan. 2. Since the cat is gray, it sometimes seems to merge with the "landscape" of the apartment (in night mode, everything is shot in shades of gray). And at some moments the camera does not respond to the initial movements of the animal and starts shooting only when it comes back from somewhere with a proud gait. And when he went there and what he did there is a mystery shrouded in darkness. But these are non-critical shortcomings and in general the camera copes with its duties 100%.
