Used in my Halloween Zombie Containment Block

I bet you weren't expecting to see a review with this kind of monitor usage, were you? A few years ago I built a zombie containment chamber for Halloween that used a monitor to give the illusion that a zombie was trapped in the chamber. I've used a very cheap monitor in the past and found that it looks fine when viewed straight on, but any angle from the side or below blurs the image and destroys the illusion. Given that the "window" was about 5.5 feet off the ground, anyone smaller could not see the video. So I've found that I need some kind of monitor with wide viewing angles so you can see it from different angles. not just straight. This monitor uses an IPS board to offer sharper viewing angles. Here are a few points I looked for when looking for a monitor: * Largest monitor I could buy for less than $100 * Lightweight as it can be hung in the 'aggregate' * Live/Live Video * Sharp viewing angles with no frame loss Quality* Diagonal width of at least 22 inches. The previous monitor was only 15 inches, so I wanted a larger size for a more realistic "zombie" size inside. This monitor fits the bill. I also had a $15 Revain gift card, which softened the blow to my wallet. I plugged in the power cord and HDMI cable, which went to a small digital video player with a memory card playing a clip of a trapped zombie. I didn't attach the base as I couldn't mount the monitor in it This video is not intended for Halloween, so all parts of the device are limited to the monitor itself. I used felt material inside the case on the edges where the front of the monitor would touch to protect the screen as it is a bezel. less screen on top and sides. Didn't want scratches! The lack of bezels was the only real downside to the monitor. It's funny to think that like any other use, bezels aren't welcome. Definitely the clip I Sinker is a monitor built into the case. I'm very happy with how it turned out and that this monitor has really kicked that pillar up a notch. Overall I recommend this monitor if you are looking for a monitor with sharp viewing angles. The colors are good, there are no dead pixels on the screen, the price corresponds to the size. Other than how I use it, I can't say more.
