Acer SB220Q Ultra Thin Frame Monitor 21.5", 75Hz, Frameless, ‎SB220Q Bi, IPS Review

Compared to my laptop, the image is greener. My laptop is also an Acer. It is very bad to display the same image side by side via the HDMI provided by my laptop. The controls are small buttons below the screen. I urgently need a remote control. I skipped the part about the lack of speakers, but monitor speakers are usually bad anyways. I'm currently sending an HDMI signal there from a digital tuner as my large TV is in storage while I'm trying to move out of this house.

I bought it to use as a second monitor. It serves its purpose, but I'm not sure if it's a good choice for gamers (although I'm no expert!). I like working on a bigger screen than my laptop and it's much better ergonomically. The only thing I don't like is that it's SUPER bright. I'm currently using a brightness level of 1 (out of 100) and that's the only level I can handle. Otherwise it's good for the price!

Arrived well packaged, the only thing I don't like is that the screen was not protected at all. Also with the main filter/or protective plastic. There is a small scratch on the underside, but that doesn't bother me. If it had been more scratched I would have sent it back!

The monitor does not support 3.5mm audio interface and USB interface, but you can connect a speaker to a set-top box. And 1080p is enough to play the Switch.

There is nothing wrong with this money. Very good colors, I believe they are close to 99% sRGB. I don't see ghosting when watching movies and action movies on YouTube. For my use, it's fine for general photo editing. no height adjustment, slightly tilted. I almost bought a $175 monitor but I'm glad I didn't. Bought again and have never been disappointed. While it's not as bright, it's a very solid productivity monitor for those on a budget.

So I thought I had actually hit the jackpot, but I didn't. The monitor is not zero frame, it fits very tight, but it's not there. Although the bezel is narrow, it is thicker than it should be (about 4-5mm). Otherwise, the image quality is good and the refresh rate and image quality are very good for this price point. As a work/office monitor, a lightweight gaming or secondary monitor is perfect.

I have two of these monitors connected to a docking station for my work laptop. With the small laptop screen, I can now have two additional larger widescreen monitors, which makes working from home much easier. I can't speak for gaming graphics but I will say these monitors are great for my purposes.
