Good deal for a disposable monitor

I used to live in a cool, quiet house in the valley but had to move to a hot and noisy apartment with no air conditioning in the city. The temperature inside reaches 88 F with a maximum of 90 F on a hot day! Since room temperature is considered 68-72 F, I was concerned that my Lenovo ThinkVision High Performance Monitor ($300) and HP Color Laser Printer ($400) would fry or corrode in the heat and humidity of this terrible climate. So I place both devices in my air-conditioned storage room while I look for better living conditions. To replace them, I decided to buy this $85 Acer monitor and an $85 HP inkjet printer (which costs less than the black toner cartridge for my color printer). Laser) and I could pretty much quit if I move abroad (my main intentions). While the Acer doesn't match the color saturation, overall screen quality, and bells and whistles of Lenovo (which was fairly handpicked at Best Buy before pulling the trigger on a good monitor), the Acer surprised me with its quality. Such a cheap monitor. It's sharp and the color contrast is superb. My main issue was that the background of the screen was yellow-green compared to my Lenovo or my Dell XPS, but whitened over time as the monitor faded. Also, I used the default screen settings and found a few that did brighten the screen a bit, so now it's not bad at all. For $85 I was expecting soft, blurry text with dull colors, in which case I'd return the monitor, but for now I have no complaints: sharpness, excellent color reproduction and contrast, and a decent white background. Just note that it has NO USB ports, no USB charging port, no HDMI or DisplayPort and no audio output, and no height and tilt adjustment like on my Lenovo. Also, Acer removed the audio output that was present on previous models. Well I think you get what you pay for. It's probably worth spending 3-4 times more than Acer to get a good monitor like Lenovo, but for my purposes, Acer is fine with me. I may have to find a place in my personal safe to leave the monitor because it's too good to throw away!
