Use car trash can
I actually bought this to use as a trash can in my car. I used to use a small household trash can but was disappointed that everything would spill out if it tipped over. I saw a similar idea on Pinterest and decided to give it a try. I was drawn to this particular container because it had the largest capacity of any flip-top cereal container I could find. I am very happy with the purchase. I use regular grocery bags to line it up and the latches still work to keep it closed. I just throw away what I need and close the lid. Voila! No more mess from spilled trash cans!
