I received this product and it was well packaged. There were instructions on the packaging but this item speaks for itself; Remove the protective film from the adhesive surface and place it on the device. There are several ways a person can position the ring holder that can change the shape of the item being pulled out. I would therefore make sure that you take just a minute to decide how you want to place the holder. The downside at this point is that the adhesive isn't as strong as one might imagine. I have a soft silicone case for my phone (something like an otter) that has a ring holder stuck to it, and the ring holder came loose about a week after I put it on. It was still sticky enough to put back on, but I'm definitely not going to hang my phone on the hook while doing other things with my hands like the promotional image shows.
