I just used the bag on a five night trip with no tent where the low temp was 50 degrees F with wind chill. I am a warm sleeper, but was wearing lightweight polypro bottoms and a long sleeve top over a t-shirt on that night. When the wind died down I had to take off the long sleeve top. I was too hot. Most nights on the hike were upper 50s and I didn't need the polypro bottoms, just a t-shirt.I like it. I will try to update this review on my experiences at lower temps this fall. I have been sleeping outside on hiking, camping, and river trip going on 47 years and my sleeping bags cost $300-$500. I was skeptical about the workmanship but was pleasantly surprised. At this price, if it lasts 2 years (I sleep out 30+ nights a year) I will be thrilled.
