Ok. There were a lot of bad and so-so reviews, pffft. should have known better. This is exactly what I wanted and is exactly as described by Manfrotto. Open your legs, lower him and shoot. Nothing more. Nothing special. ConSimple. If you need more than just a lightweight tripod, it has no other features. Height. You MUST bend down if you are over 5ft 5in or so tall. I will mark the attached ball head as a pass/fail feature. I really like its simplicity. A handle and a screw. your camera and lock it. I would NOT say it is a "liquid head" ball head. You can easily loosen the locking knob and move your head, but smooth panning depends on your skill level. Good. Address me the biggest complaint about this tripod. How big can a camera handle it? I have an Oly M5 II with a 14-150 Mk II lens. This probably weighs less than my old 5D's battery grip and that's fine .5D with 50mm on it. Again no problem. However, the 5D and Medium-L lenses really push the envelope. This is a backpack/hiking/lightweight tripod. I see no attempt to find the lightest that Manfrotto makes. (this one) and then dropping that £8 full-size DSLR you've been lugging around on it. is this madness If you need a very light and somewhat lightweight tripod, this is excellent. The quality is worth the $65 I paid for it considering a lot of crappy cheap ones are in the $30-$40 range. A. And it comes with a nice padded case and an adapter for cameras with uneven floors(?).
