I had to reluctantly take my two cats on a 15 hour trip that I was terrified of. They used to meow from stress during a short car ride until they were hoarse. I gave my cats the recommended dose about half an hour before I had to put them in the car. Both just sat in their suitcases and drove very patiently (and quietly) during the trips, which I split over two days. At the end of each long day, they were mildly agitated (walking in a van, a few episodes of meowing) but not at all like their previous behavior in cars. I cannot recommend these treats enough for a pet owner to have peace of mind during stressful times.
