I do strength training regularly and mix supplements before and after workouts. I have another shaker bottle that I've been using for a while but wanted a second one available when the other is in the dishwasher. Overall this bottle is very good. It's stainless steel that's preferable to plastic - for health reasons, because it washes better and doesn't retain odors. Protein blends can get very smelly if not cleaned properly. I also like that the mixing ball in this bottle is larger than most, making it more efficient at getting the job done. I have found that this bottle allows me to mix my supplements well in less time. The lid closes tightly and I was able to take it apart very easily. The spout lid fits snugly, but still opens and closes with reasonable effort. Does not leak when shaken. I love that this bottle has OZ and ML markings inside and out. The markings are engraved, not just inked. This makes them permanent. However, as with all bottles of this type, the labeling is sometimes difficult to read. The paint finish is smooth and glossy and still looks new after several washes in the dishwasher. This bottle has thinner walls than mine. another mixer. This means it's less insulated and won't keep liquids as cold (or hot) as some of the thicker bottles. In my case, I like my pre- and post-workout at medium temperatures anyway. However, if you need to keep warm or cold, this bottle may not be as effective for you. Overall this is a great blender and I now use it regularly alternating with others. I recommend it.
