22nd June 2021 - UPDATE: This product description states that it has a 2 SIDED STAINLESS STEEL LID. Mine looks different as the stainless steel like material has peeled off (see picture). I wash the jug and lid by hand and do not use abrasive cleaning agents. I have no idea why this happened. The jug is still functional for my use but it appears the product information is inaccurate. Minus one star. Due to a previous case of kidney stones, I needed a large jug to keep track of my daily water intake. The doctor says I should drink 60-90 ounces a day and I can easily add 80 ounces to this pitcher without having to measure and write down information every time I drink a glass of water. And I can make lemon water, which is said to be better for my system. The pitcher is solid and I haven't had any issues so far. Worth the money for my purposes in my opinion.
