    Ideal for iced tea on dishes and serving utensils

    I literally eat homemade iced tea. I made the mistake of buying a well-reviewed plastic pitcher for making iced tea. Unfortunately the tea had an odd taste which I brought due to the plastic pot. I've been using this pitcher for a few months and I love it. I use boiling water to brew tea, so just pour a glass of cold water into the ground before adding boiling water. This is a very decorative jug. It's light, so be careful not to hit it with anything that could cause it to break.

    The seal is not completely tight.

    I looked through many jars to find one with a large capacity and an airtight lid. Well, it's big, but the silicone gasket on the lid should seal the lid all the way around. Unfortunately it isn't. The whole purpose is to keep the foods stored in your fridge away from your fresh tea whose flavors get absorbed and ruin your tea. I tried contacting the company via email but gave up because after entering the information they kept bouncing around. Not happy with my purchase. Today I was surprised…

    Good jug, lid doesn't stay on.

    This is a very attractive jug that is easy to clean and well balanced for a large jug. My main complaint is the top of the stopper not staying on the neck. It actually falls out as soon as we tip the jug forward, which shouldn't actually happen since it's a pouring lid. It's getting so bad that I'm considering replacing the pitcher. I tried tampering with the seal but the lid is too heavy to seal. Update: 90 days after purchase, the jar suffered an expansion crack along the contour of one of…

    22nd June 2021 - UPDATE: This product description states that it has a 2 SIDED STAINLESS STEEL LID. Mine looks different as the stainless steel like material has peeled off (see picture). I wash the jug and lid by hand and do not use abrasive cleaning agents. I have no idea why this happened. The jug is still functional for my use but it appears the product information is inaccurate.     I bought this to make sun tea. (If you don't know what that is, pour water into a glass container, Lipton tea bags, and leave them on your sundeck for half a day.)
