I looked through many jars to find one with a large capacity and an airtight lid. Well, it's big, but the silicone gasket on the lid should seal the lid all the way around. Unfortunately it isn't. The whole purpose is to keep the foods stored in your fridge away from your fresh tea whose flavors get absorbed and ruin your tea. I tried contacting the company via email but gave up because after entering the information they kept bouncing around. Not happy with my purchase. Today I was surprised with a full refund. I was hoping the seller had a solution but your return was appreciated. If you need a good quality teapot and a fully closed lid is not required then I would recommend this one.
