This is a very attractive jug that is easy to clean and well balanced for a large jug. My main complaint is the top of the stopper not staying on the neck. It actually falls out as soon as we tip the jug forward, which shouldn't actually happen since it's a pouring lid. It's getting so bad that I'm considering replacing the pitcher. I tried tampering with the seal but the lid is too heavy to seal. Update: 90 days after purchase, the jar suffered an expansion crack along the contour of one of the "honeycomb" spots on the underside of the lid. The pitcher effectively pierced the entire glass and poured the entire pitcher of liquid onto my counter and onto my shoes. So in the end. Not a big purchase.
