I literally eat homemade iced tea. I made the mistake of buying a well-reviewed plastic pitcher for making iced tea. Unfortunately the tea had an odd taste which I brought due to the plastic pot. I've been using this pitcher for a few months and I love it. I use boiling water to brew tea, so just pour a glass of cold water into the ground before adding boiling water. This is a very decorative jug. It's light, so be careful not to hit it with anything that could cause it to break.
