I bought this because I work from home and my Wired headset had a very short tether. When I was having good times for a long time, I wanted to be able to get up and get water or something. Well I should have done more research as it doesn't support microphone audio but that's not why I rated the product so low. The sound quality was boring and the adapter oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo the adapter even ironic). I didn't return it because I can still at least hear the music on hold (although it's weak) so I'll take it easy and be careful not to turn it off until I get a new one. (It's very easy to put it on the floor the wrong way round by unplugging it.) To make sure it was a headset issue, I tried my old iPhone headphones and encountered the same issue. If you need it for a headset I wouldn't recommend it. Also, the connection is generally very weak, so the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe my set is just damaged. Although I like braided cord!
