I was looking for a weighted blanket for the bed that would distribute the weight evenly and not have a blanket that just gets in the way/torn (all the flaws of my last weighted blanket). We've had them for a month now and they work great. I ended up taking two and doubling them so it was 40 pounds which is the best weight for two adults as only one of them didn't cut it for me while my husband and I both slept under it. So they fold up nicely and are perfect for our full-size bed (so they're probably a bit smaller than a queen-size bed, but we don't have an issue with that size) without the hassle of keeping them in place. I was a bit worried our cat might puncture them and leak the beads, but I keep them between our comforter and sheets so I didn't have any problems with holes, loose stitching or anything. I know they also talk about chilling and they are not too hot. I sleep under both and one sheet every night and have a comfortable temperature, but I don't need an extra blanket either. Of course, they're designed to be more durable than your average duvet, so expecting them to keep you cool or very thin is a bit of a stretch and not the point. They hold warmth because they carry so much weight, but they're definitely not as warm as other weighted blankets I've had!
