I bought these to use on bulbs that aren't hardwired. I like the brightness and the ability to dim, but it doesn't hold a charge. I used them fully charged on the lowest setting for about 30 minutes. The next time I tried to turn them on (a week later) they were completely dead. If these are emergency lights then it defeats the purpose! You should be able to charge them, store them, and use them during a power outage. If they don't hold a charge, you won't be able to use them when needed.
