that I originally bought for my second bike. I was hoping it would be of decent quality but was very disappointed. This is a typical Chinese carbon seat post. The design is a rip-off from the Thomson seatpost (where the seatpost head attaches to the saddle). The construction of the 27.2 pipe itself is pretty solid. It is made from a 3k carbon fiber weave. I've ridden a bike but haven't ridden because of a A few things (bad): 1. The lower C-plate causes the seat tilt to not hold and not seat properly on the seatpost. In theory, it should fit snugly in the tote bag. As you can see from the picture I uploaded it doesn't quite fit. This creates pressure points on the outside and inside of the carbon it sits on, leading to premature fracture.
