I have a "wild" cat who took us in. Now she thinks she should be let in when it's cold and/or damp outside. That meant fleas, of course. I am severely allergic to flea bites and the first few times she came to me it was a disaster for me. Attempting to bathe a cat is NOT easy, especially if it used to be feral. So we tried neck drops, yeah not good or light, tried powder, and what a mess it was, so we tried these collars, and aside from breaking them about every 3 or 4 months (so we bought fragile) them seem to have done their job. Recently she was allowed in a couple of times and the fleas didn't bit me which means she didn't bring any fleas into my house.
