Even though this is for "large sizes" (which you can probably only find out by clicking on the company link) I decided to give it a try and hoped it would accommodate layers. It would probably be fine for this purpose, but the zipper was very pointy and narrow. I wouldn't want it around my neck. I returned it. As an indication of size: I am 1.35 m tall and 135 cm tall.
