It's hard to write a review for such a simple product. In terms of functionality, it worked as advertised. As for why I bought a new Kindle Fire. He had a power cord with a new plug. This meant I could only use it to charge my Kindle. It was short, so I could only charge while I slept or in my home office, away from my computer. I needed a longer cable because I read a lot in bed with my Kindle on my stomach. Well, the replacement cable that came with the Kindle was too short. With these cables, I can keep reading even when the battery level is too low to use it without a connection. Since there are two of them, I don't have to carry my current cable up and down the stars. The new long cable allows me to keep my Kindle close to my computer so I can keep writing reviews and charging it at the same time. I am very happy with these cables. Because it works great in the environment I needed it for, I give this product five stars.
