I have been working from home for a long time. I needed something stable to place my laptop at the same height (top edge) as my second monitor. It's a more ergonomic setup, so I'm not constantly leaning forward to read the laptop screen and the camera pops up just above eye level. Bonus, my desktop is fairly high so I can use it for short periods of time for standing work as the keyboard is also raised off the desk (not ideal for more than a few minutes but it's nice to be able to stand and still be multiple able to type minutes at a time). The photos don't make it clear but the angle of all 4 hinges is adjustable so you can make it exactly how you want it. In addition, the hinges are quite tight, which makes it very stable. I installed it at the height I needed and left it. I think you'll get a pretty good workout if you close and open it regularly as shown in the pictures, unless the hinges loosen a bit!
