This replacement bushing appears to be much stronger than the original parts I bought at the local appliance parts store for our Maytag washing machine. I changed the part every few weeks. This has been running for months now and the washing machine is still working. Now five very active adults live here, the children have grown up and still live with us. The washing machine almost never stands still for more than a few hours at a time. Great part. I doubt I'll ever take the car back to the shop now that I know they charged me for the gearboxes and just changed that plastic hub. And if the gearbox fails, I am sure that I can also cope with this replacement. Skillful people, don't be afraid to do it yourself.
