This product is perfect, after using the cable that came with the headphones (NOT this product) for about a year it fell into disrepair. I think some of them have run over my office chair multiple times. This cable is better than the original cable, perfect for headphones. There are no media or volume controls, but this "feature" still bugs me, and it's the part that failed on my original cable, it fell apart and stopped working completely over time. I've never used the volume control. This product is threaded to avoid tangling and the cord is longer than the cord that comes with the headphones. If you need a replacement headphone cable this should be your choice, especially at a very reasonable price. It's also great to keep the price low given how expensive the headphones themselves are. :)
