Does not replace Troy Trimmer

Listed as a replacement for the Champion RDJ7J. When I replaced the RDJ7J fork in my 1.5 year old Troy 2-stroke trimmer, it ran very rough over idle. Yes, I checked the correct gap. I replaced the DiamondFire E3.16 with an old RDJ7J and the trim is working fine again. I like to change out the candles etc. in all my gardening tools every year.
