I finally gave up after hearing so many great things about how metal combs can remove static electricity from your hair. I live in Iowa, so my whole house is full of static electricity in the winter. I've been using the comb for about a week and for me it works best when I'm just stepping out of the shower with wet hair that has already been combed out with my regular brush. I feel like it doesn't really remove the static because I still have static in my hair after drying. But it's a very good comb for a very low price.
