I've tried the leg/calf massager before and wasn't a fan of it. Even at the lowest setting, I found the compression too strong and the kneading function on the sole of the foot too painful. I had never heard of MOUNTRAXX before so I didn't know what to expect. I can honestly say I've been using it for the past 45 minutes. Not only does this massager soothe and relax my feet, but the heating feature is a huge bonus. I have to say that the heat took a while to warm up. So many that I actually thought I had received a defective device because I didn't feel anything. But right now my feet are in heaven because of the amount of heat generated. This device has a touch control panel, but it also comes with a remote control. There are 2 timer settings (15 and 30 minutes) with automatic switch off. The kneading and squeezing function has 3 intensity levels (low, medium and high). The foot cover is removable, machine washable and fits feet up to size 12! The best part is that it's also very quiet. I used this while my 18 month old was sleeping and he wasn't moving at all. This will be a great gift!
