Review on 🌿 SOPHi Prime + Shine + Seal: Non Toxic & Chemical-Free Primer/Sealer + Topcoat System by David Kits

The picture of this color seems to me copper-gold with some shimmer. The item I received appears to be matte brown. Haven't used it yet so can't rate anything other than the color. Now I've applied it and the color is more like Boyfriend Abroad. Well, apart from the color. This is the first time I'm using Sophie. I bought because of the low rating (the lower the better) on the EWG. I bought Skinny Dip Plus Chips and SOPHi Prime + Shine + Seal System. I have followed all the instructions as stated. I was willing to invest time in my health. The first thing I noticed (besides the wrong color) was that the polish was VERY thick. It is very difficult to apply 2-3 THIN coats when it comes THICK out of the bottle. Because of this, I couldn't get a smooth finish when I could still see brush strokes. Did I get a bad bottle, or are they all like that? I do not know. I'm sure it also affects the drying time. It's been 1 hour and I'm still afraid to use my hands. How worn out, time will tell. I know I read somewhere that while you can use regular nail polish remover, Sophi nail polish remover is recommended. I didn't want to shell out the extra money so I'll see how the nail polish comes off with regular nail polish remover. Well, in 2 days. Good news and bad news. Good. I didn't have to buy a stripper. Poorly. That's because it started to chip and completely detached from my nails. I will return this product.
